| Report City of Bristol SW ladies began the new season with a fresh-looking squad, featuring six new players — including G. Harvey, who made her debut in competitive volleyball. The opening set saw some early nerves, with 10 serving errors proving costly as BVC edged ahead to take it 25–22. Despite some strong rallies and promising play, BVC’s experience showed as they controlled the following two sets, winning 3-0. Although the result didn’t go our way, the team displayed great spirit and determination throughout. There were plenty of positives to build on and clear areas to work on as the squad continues to grow and develop for the matches ahead. |
