| Report Wessex went into this match undefeated and without dropping sets, but they faced a Taunton side who was slowly improving as it combined it's U18 players with a few senior players to make up the day. The Wessex experience showed through as they kept their consistency in serving and defence and with smart setting from Sarah, they kept frustrating Taunton and exposing Taunton's weakness. However, the Taunton players did not give up and came back from 2 sets to 1 down to take the next 2 sets, the 5th and final set going to the wire having saved 2 match points. |
