| Report Match was fairly even, with Bath Uni always showing more control and effect through their 2 tall middle players on attack. Sadly, in the start of the 2nd set, Taunton's main hitter Eva Odams sprained her ankle. As Taunton had no spare subs, we had to forfeit the 2nd set and start the 3rd set with our libero putting on a team shirt. Albeit with this sad loss, Taunton rallied to try and stay competitive against this stronger on the day team of Uni Bath. Congratulations Bath Post match note by Competition Secretary. Unfortunately the rules do not allow teams to re-designate a libero as a regular player and therefore Taunton also have to concede the third set. |
